US Marine Corps Marpat Wet Weather Poncho Liner

I have wanted a “woobie” since I first knew what they were. I don’t really fit any outdoor genre, but if I did, it would be a backpacking-informed, retired hammock camper who moved on to a roof- top tent. That basically means that I appreciate lightweight and multipurpose gear, but I’m also not afraid to carry a few few extras if it makes things better. This poncho liner fits in that lineup perfectly.

I have only goofed off with it at the house, but so far I climbed into it as a lightweight summer bag, wrapped up in it and cool outside temperatures, and evaluate it as a bag liner or a supplemental betting item in the tent. This would also be great in a hammock as a super lightweight under quilt. Doesn’t have enough insulation to function as a heavy duty under quilt, but I suspect it might help in temperatures down to 45°. It’s definitely going in the jeep anytime I’m headed out anywhere. I’ve even used it on the couch during a football game. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. I suspect that I’m gonna be able to use it for other things once I take it on a trip.

It was in excellent condition and I really appreciate how well the zippers work. Many times with thin rip-stop nylon zippers, get jammed all the time. These are designed well with big pull strings. I can’t recommend it enough.
